Happy Booster Club
 

The Happy Booster Club at the Macon County Health Department is dedicated to providing on-site opportunities for socialization in support of morale for all MCHD staff. The Club was organized by Health Department staff wanting to provide social opportunities within the work day. These events enable staff members to interact and become better acquainted with each other.

The objectives of the Happy Booster Club are to:
  • Enhance the workday by providing staff events.
  • Encourage smiles and laughter.
  • Improve recognition of staff on a personal level.
  • Provide an outlet for staff to use their talents and imaginations to the benefit of other staff.
  • Bring staff closer together through club activities.
  • Boost staff morale.

  • Tailgate Parties
  • Black History Month Potlucks
  • Caramel Apple Days
  • Ice Cream Socials
  • Hispanic Month Potlucks
  • Staff Thanksgiving Dinners
  • All American Picnics
  • Thanks for the Memories

The mission of the Happy Booster Club is to make the work day more enjoyable and encourage an overall ‘team’ feeling between the many departments within the Health Department.
